Mick Rock, David Bowie’s official photographer in the Seventies, is currently having an exhibition in Manhattan of the images he has taken over the years of Bowie, Warhol, Queen, Madonna and others.
For this exhibition, he has psychedelicized his classic photos in what I’d call a Warhol-inspired style, like this:
The exhibition is being held at CATM Chelsea (Gallery) in Manhattan until Sunday April 22.
CATM is located at 500 West 22nd Street (off 10th Avenue) near where the Empire Diner was situated (now the Highliner).
Catch the exhibition every day until 7pm, except Sundays (1pm) and Mondays (closed).
